External Pressure Relief Valve for Tank Storage - 485-418
The 485-418 is designed to protect the vessel in an over pressure situation and will “pop” fully open shortly after start to discharge has occurred, to ensure the rapid reduction of internal pressure, closing automatically when predetermined pressure conditions are restored.
Safety devices are fitted with a resilient seat disc as the main closure and the discharge setting is secured against unauthorized interference by pinning the adjuster in the valve body.
