- The SRG Type 485-415 is an external safety valve system for LPG storage tanks.
The check valve has a 1 1/4" NPT tank connector and the safety valve is fitted with a straight thread and bonded seal, so it can be removed and replaced without depressurizing the tank. The safety valve is fitted with a protective plastic cap.
Designed to protect tanks in the event of over-pressure, the 485 valve opens fully as soon as depressurization begins, ensures rapid reduction of internal pressure, and closes automatically when predetermined pressure conditions are restored.
The safety device is fitted with an elastic seat disc. The main closing and equipped outlet settings are protected against tampering by adjusters fixed to the valve body.
The valve is suitable for design pressures up to 30 bar and temperatures between -20°C and 65°C. The relief valve can be factory-set between 14.5 and 48.0 bar. Other configurations and specifications are available on request.
